Best School Backpack Wildkin Trains Planes Sidekick Backpack

Wildkin Trains Planes Sidekick Backpack

We had an adorable Skip Hop dog backpack which proved too small for a standard folder which they use at school for correspondence. I debated LL Bean or Pottery Barn kids but didn't love their designs. This is perfect. The pattern is fun and crisp with a great mix of trains and other vehicles.

The large pocket holds his folder (a bit tight) along with a large ziploc for his change of clothes and there's plenty of room left for a lunch bag or lovey. The front pocket holds diapers, wipes, and has room left. I don't use the small organizer pockets yet but expect it would be nice for small toys, sanitizer, etc. The overall size is just right for my 3.5 year old in that it's a little big so that he can grow into it. I hope to keep it at least thru Kindergarten.

I expect it will be great when we do sleepovers at Grammoms soon, too.

My son would like the design to have more trains / all trains / several train cars hooked together, but that's not the design. If they offered a train only design, that would have been our pick.

Great quality! My son loves this right now, although he doesn't start school until next year. Exactly what we ordered, and no disappointments here!

I have been searching for a backpack large enough to hold my son's lunchbox, a change of clothes, his folder, and 5 extra diapers. I found this backpack and when it came in the mail...it was EXACTLY what I needed and was looking for! My son is 17mo old and it's on the larger side, but the straps make it adjustable enough for him to wear it! We will definitely get him through all of Mother's Day Out and preschool with this backpack before having to purchase a new one in kindergarten or beyond!! I love the it has a large compartment and then a smaller one with all types of organization!! PERFECT BAG!!!

Bought this for my 3 year old boy who started pre-school. He loves cars and trucks and can't wait to put this on for school. Seems to be fery high quality and durable.

Bought this for my 3 year old grandson when he starts pre-school. He ADORES cars, trucks, plans, fire engines, helicopters.....need I say more. Great size for a 3 yr. old -- not overpowering. Colors are wonderful - bright and fun! He LOVED IT!

  10. My son loves his backpack for preschool! It's just the right size, and it's not covered in licensed characters :) It appears to be made well, and is durable, unlike his previous backpack.

  12. Our 2.5 year old son loves this. He just started preschool and this backpack was perfect! He had to have one that fit a library book and a compsition note book and this fit the bill. HE also likes to point out all the things on the bag.
