Best School Backpack: Melissa Doug Trunki Trixie Pink

Melissa Doug Trunki Trixie Pink

I bought this after seeing a 4 and 6 year old with it in the airport. My 2-year old absolutely loves this. It has made our trips through airports, even flight connections, painless. Sure, it's faster to take a child in a stroller or carrier, but with the Trunki, you get cooperation... and what's even better, a relaxed child by the time you reach the plane, who's had a chance to vent off some energy!!! My daughter will sit on it and push along with her feet, or at times, she will lift up her feet and I'll pull it, or sometimes, she'll walk and pull it herself. It's a slow, but sure process. Inside it, I store her toys and snacks and other things I need for the trip, including my laptop during the last flight. At our destination, she uses it to sit on it, as a small chair, so she can draw on the coffee table, etc. The best travel gadget/tool/luggage I have bought with a child! :)

I bought this for our 2 year old daughter to use at the airport on our trip. Trixi is FANTASTIC!! Our daughter absolutely loves Trixi she wants to ride on her all of the time. For the comments about the luggage opening as they are riding...it seems that this issue has been fixed as the side latches actually lock now which is great! I would recommend that you buy the saddle bag to go with it does help the child from slipping off. Overall this was a GENIUS idea and we love it.

I was a little doubtful about the size, but it holds everything my 2 year old daughter needs for an overnight with grandma and she LOVES riding on it. Very sturdy and SUPER CUTE.

Couple of points: Granddaughter loved Trunki, however, I believe the cloth saddle should come with it, since the straps hurt lil tushes. Secondly, I tried several ways to get it monogramed. Stickon's do not adhere. Nothing worked. Maybe could have slots for 3 drop-down initials. All in all, it was a wonderful gift and she loved it. Very sturday. She will enjoy for years, I'm sure. Bought cheaper on Amazon. :-)

I bought it for my daughter and found it worths the price. Good quality and give the child a chance to tidy their luggage herself.

This is the second one I have purchased this year. I bought this one by request for my 6 yr old granddaughter. I bought one for Christmas from another supplier and she just had to have one! Amazon has the best price and I got it the next day! Great job Amazon!!! Thank you! Happy Grandma Gale
