Best Backpacks for School: Port Authority Cinch Pack Bright

Port Authority Cinch Pack Bright

I purchased two of these bags for a vacation with my boyfriend (one in light blue and the other in black--at the time the black was the cheapest but I see now it has gone up in price). The bags performed well beyond my expectations!

We went to California and planned to hit up SeaWorld, Legoland, and the San Diego Zoo. I wanted something simple and lightweight, and I wanted something relatively cheap so that I could buy two. I thought something water-resistant would be nice (for SeaWorld and the Legoland waterpark), but I also purchased dry bags so it wasn't the most important thing. These bags actually held up in water far better than I would ever have expected! While we had our cell phones, cameras and wallets in dry bags, there were spare T-shirts and things in these bags that did not get wet at all, even after we rode the "Shipwreck Rapids" ride twice, getting pretty thoroughly soaked in the process.

The strings were a little long for me, but it's easy to adjust them by pulling the drawstrings shorter and then tying them in knots to keep them that way.

I thought these might be bags we used on this vacation and then tossed when we were done, but I will be keeping these around for future trips and will use them until they fall apart, which will probably be a pretty long time.

My group was very pleased with this bag. We are planning to do something nice with it by placing a name label on it.

This bag is pretty good, I can fit my soccer shoes, pants, t-shirt, Gloves and ankle protector, it also has a separate division for things like wallet, chance cell phone and keys, so they dont move around the entire bag.

Once side of the BAG is a sort of double mesh, so it helps not to stink the BAG when ever dirty clothes go in.

Bought this bag for a trip to Disney theme parks. It's light weight and washable. The zipper front pocket is vinyl lined and kept items dry on wet rides. The pull tight top of the main bag made easy access for us to quickly retrieve or add souvenirs. The double rope-like straps are durable and not cheaply made for a longer lasting bag to reuse many times over. I would definitely recommend this bag to others. It's a great value!

  4. I am very happy with this purchase. The bag arrived earlier than estimated and was in great condition. The zipper pocket on the outside is nice to put non-valuables in so they're easy to grab. The bag is roomy and very nicely made. I use it all the time for outings and have never had a problem with it.

  5. I was super happy to receive my package first off it came about four days early!! . The bag is great and very sturdy. The only negative thing about this bag was the straps were a little to long but something could be easily fixed . Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase.

  6. This bag is perfect for a bike ride to the gym or to take to a 5k. It has an extra pocket, the main bag area has a mesh back (so if you have sweaty socks or something, it will breathe) and it's a sturdy build. Good bag overall!

  7. I bought this for my teenage son. He can easily carry a 3 ring zippered binder and then some with this bag. The separate zippered area is a bonus. It has been 2 months and no rips, tears, or string breakage...which honestly is a change from past similar products.
    Buy it...you'll like it!

I got this because I wanted a bag like this but didn't have a lot of money.

I looked at the mall and all of them were too expensive, I looked at Kohls but they didn't have any and finally I looked to the internet... This is the result.

This is a solid bag, it feels sturdy and all the various parts and pieces seem to be well made. It has an outer pocket that I use to keep pens and pencils in, a job that it fits nicely. All of my various schools supplies and bric a brac that I need for classes. If you have any large books however, this is not a bag for you, it doesn't have a massive amount of room in it.

Thats all I have to say, it fits the bill for what I needed it for and i haven't broken it yet.... So thats that...
